that new, new

sue me, i’m not a music critic, but, assholes are like opinions and i am one. here’s a small sample of what i’ve been blasting in the car these past few months. you should know i’m a sucker for a good beat and anything that makes me feel like i’m trapped in Urban Outfitters. forgive me if you’ve “aLrEaDy hEaRd tHeSe BeFoRe”. i guarantee if you don’t like these, you’re wrong. or deaf * kisses *.

Heels is the anthem for any girl or gay walking home alone from the bar, crying in the rain, and dancing naked & wasted in front of the mirror.

Teddy Andreas’ Uneasy hits like a smooth blunt, with old school beats and jazzy production. love the flute sample.

MLMA is not only an amazing graphic designer, makeup artist, and overall badass bitch, she makes great future rap: ie the beautifully weird Viral (follow her @melovemealot on insta).

Denzel Curry’s Ricky SLAPS. perfect for playing in the car with the bass turned all the way up.

Go Loko is the perfect summer jam with heavy Los Angeles vibes…pass the cerveza, please.

On The Way Home was written and performed by a group of lads from Manchester, UK , with a Mac Miller-esque production (RIP). i’m a big fan in spite of the fact that i usually hate white rappers. it’s the perfect nightcap for those 3AM Uber rides home to take bong rips on your roommate’s dilapidated futon.

Another great beat on DaBaby’s Suge—be sure to listen closely to the hilarious rhymes and check out the music video; the Atlanta rapper is a total triple threat with an artist’s eye to boot.

GOMF is the first EDM track i’ve liked in a WHILE—solid beat with a good hook (simple bass chord). $50 to whomever can figure out what GOMF actually stands for (get outta my face?). Bridge lends his melodic synthy vocals for a slickly silky smooth vibe.

Newly freed A$AP Rocky kills it with babushka boy—you have to see the video directed by photographer Nadia Lee Cohen (@nadialeelee ); the visuals are reminiscent of old school horror movies.
